The Woman on a Pony

The Woman on a Pony is a series of paintings and sculptures created during my year as Meisterschüler at HBK Braunschweig. This body of work was inspired by my trip to the Canadian outback in 2012, fulfilling my childhood dream of becoming a cowgirl. Like treasures a child keeps in its tin box, this exhibitions blurs the line between dream and memory and evoke a sense of nostalgia and longing.
